Moses Bio
Moses, an Israeli Cancerian born in 1970, was interested in spirituality and the powers of the human mind from a young age. Additionally during his youth, he took up the study and practice of martial arts (karate and full contact). In university, he studied law in Israel, later pursuing a short career as a lawyer only to find that ultimately his real passions lay elsewhere: in spirituality…. While an attorney by day in Israel in 1996, Moses discovered Yoga and began practicing from books on his own and participating in various courses. As his love and passion for Yoga and spirituality grew, he left his attorney’s practice in 1999 and traveled to India. Shortly thereafter, he met his teacher, Swami Vivekananda Saraswati (affectionately known as Swami), the founder of Agama Yoga School. As a result Moses immediately committed to an intense practice and study of Yoga, Tantra, and meditation and by 2000 he was teaching Agama Yoga with Swami's blessing in Rishikesh, India. When Agama moved its headquarters to Thailand, Swami encouraged Moses to teach in Israel, which he did – opening the Israeli branch of Agama Yoga in 2002, which continues to offer classes today in several cities. After nearly a year in Israel Moses rejoined Swami in Thailand and continued his studies and teaching of Yoga, Tantra, and meditation under Swami's direct and personal guidance. In late 2004 Moses had the inspiration to reopen the Agama Yoga branch in Rishikesh, which he named Trika Yoga with Swami’s blessing. After founding Trika and reviving the teachings there, Moses left the branch in the capable hands of Khushru Mistry (one of Agama’s senior teachers) and returned in 2005 to Thailand as a senior Agama teacher on staff there. In 2007 Moses became the first Agama Yoga General Manager and, for the next two years, began a transformation of the school’s structure that would point it toward a new and higher level of efficiency, growth, and success. One of his last outgoing acts was securing the lease for our new Srithanu Campus (which today has three Yoga halls, gardens, a library, restaurant, and lake) – the culmination of a year of meticulous and exhaustive land searches to find the right property. In 2007 Moses was advanced to the Level 5 teacher’s title of Acharya (Yoga Founder) by the grace of Swami. Also In 2007 Moses started teaching Tantra workshops, which he brought to Europe in 2008. After completing his term as General Manager, he began teaching Tantra and meditation workshops year-round in various countries across Europe. Currently this initiative, named Bhairava Yoga, is developing powerfully. In 2010 Moses created another branch of Agama Yoga in Estonia, where he holds all levels of Agama Yoga courses plus workshops and retreats. Additionally he presents invitational Yoga and Tantra teachings in European countries such as Hungary, Holland, Switzerland, Germany, England, and others. Moses is also a qualified hypnotherapist. He studied Hypnotherapy in England at the acclaimed “Essex Institute”, training in clinical Hypnosis and Psychotherapy. Moses is a great believer in healing through the powers of the subconscious mind and is giving personal sessions using hypnotherapy to help remove various maladies (e.g. addictions, fears and paranoia, past traumas, sexual dysfunctions, etc.) in order to bring inner peace and harmony.
