Introduction
Bhairava Yoga now offers Yoga classes for pregnant women! We are very pleased to bring this new offering to the community. Prenatal Bliss Yoga classes are especially designed to support pregnancy at every stage: promoting the optimum health and energy of moms-to-be, bolstering positive moods and emotions as well as core and back muscle strength, plus preparing for an easy labor and childbirth.
Our special Yoga program for pregnant women includes: chosen beneficial asanas (Yoga positions), pranayama methods (breathing techniques), mudras (Yogic power gestures), bandhas (body “locks” for channeling energy), and deep relaxation. Classes are gentle enough to be practiced by women during any stage of pregnancy.
Prenatal Bliss Yoga aims to meet the needs of today’s pregnant woman. In fact, Yoga is considered the most beneficial form of physical activity a woman can practice during her pregnancy and recovery. Our special Yoga program involves gently stretching specific, important muscles and learning unique breathing and relaxation techniques, all of which are extremely beneficial for supporting the body of a pregnant woman. Yoga is often chosen over any other physical exercise during pregnancy due to its profound health benefits – at the physical and glandular as well as spiritual levels – which help facilitate a balanced emotional and mental state as well as the vigor to embrace pregnancy’s many demands.
Prenatal Bliss Yoga not only prepares a woman’s body to endure the process of birth and the physical stress and pains that may accompany both later stages of pregnancy and childbirth itself, but it also supports a woman during this important period in her life to bring a multitude of beneficial effects such as: increased energy and flexibility, easier breathing, better sleep, better control over the bladder and various bodily functions, and alleviation of some of the discomfort associated with pregnancy, such as morning or evening sickness and sciatic pain. Our intention is to help a woman experience a beautiful, relaxed, and harmonious journey through pregnancy, as well as to support her after childbirth in recovering and rebuilding her body shape, strength, beauty, and sensuality.
Prenatal Bliss Yoga also includes teachings on diet, lifestyle, and meditation suited especially to the needs of pregnant women.
Classes take place twice a week in our cozy and quite Bhairava Center located in the heart of Tallinn, Narva mnt 11d, 7th floor. Classes are in Estonian, except some lectures given by Bhairava’s head teacher Moses, which are in English (translation can be arranged upon request).
